Bertoncello (Italy)

Post by Pip on Sun Feb 10, 2008 3:18 pm

Shamefully I have to admit to knowing very little about Bertoncello at the moment other than they're Italian and they made some wickedly shaped pots during the 1960s. Here's one - more to come ....

This is a slightly more unusual bertoncello vase ,31cms high sort of gunmetal colour going into green with tube lined orange glaze, marked on base 1/A and a moulded signature that I have only seen twice before but not as clear as this one Ed
