Volcano lava vase, unclear marks. ID please? Empty Volcano lava vase, unclear marks. ID please?

I have bought a number of studio items this morning and this is the most unusual/interesting. It presents like a volcano, erupting lava, standing7"/80mm high. The marks appear to be MR or NR, but are hard to read through the glaze. Any ideas please?Volcano lava vase, unclear marks. ID please?
