He was on the first series of the Great Pottery Throwdown. Not sure that series really does the contestants any favours. Makes them seem like a bunch of amateurs, but his work is excellent.

Well they say that, but in reality there have been some very experienced hobby potters amongst the contestants who are far from amateur. The only reason they aren't classed as professionals is because they dont have to make a living from it. Although at least one in the current batch says she teaches ceramics, so I'd class her as a professional

Mrs. s-p bought a couple of bowls from his website last year during our confinement and we use them for cereals. Initially, I thought mine was too small and deep but I got into using it and I am now quite happy with its proportions.
