Can anyone tell me, in their opinion, if the mark on the plinth/ base of this sculpture is indeed the "signature" of the piece or is it a "stylized" scratch? (it is the only mark on this work!). Thank you!

Looks like a scratch imo. The foot has come away from its pin and moved around
