Stoneware 10” studio bottle vase ash glaze, drips, impressed diamonds

Very confidently made bottle or vase, turned decoration with impressed diamond patterns.
Dripping ash glaze, body is quite coarse and gritty. Toasted finish where unglazed.
Reminds me maybe of Phil Rogers , Mike Dodd or am I way off? No mark.

That Drip glaze is more like Mike Dodd, but whether he would leave so much unglazed I'm not too sure. Does not seem tidy enough for Phil Rogers or Jim Malone. Is there any sign of an overglazed mark? Mike Dodd is notorious for that. Nice piece tho, made by a very good potter.

No sign of a mark unfortunately. I hope someone recognises the decoration on the shoulders unless it’s a one-off.

The foot is completely wrong for Mike Dodd and I have never seen anything glazed by him in the way and over the years I have seen probably thousands of Mike's pots. Also the stoneware body isn't right either. The same observations apply if you had suggested Jim or Phil instead of Mike.

I need to handle more classy pots so I get the feel of who’s who! Thank you.
