3 coffee cups with 'F' mark Empty 3 coffee cups with 'F' mark

Hello

I bought these 3 cups from a charity shop and noted the 'F' mark which appears on this list of Alan Caiger Smith marks from 1965 however the cups don't look anything like the other pieces of Aldermaston pottery I have found. Does anyone have any idea what I have, if anything?

Sorry but they aren't Aldermaston Pottery. Aldermaston used a red clay with a white tin glaze over the top, which was then painted on. And their pieces usually bore the monogram of an A for Aldermaston and the potter's initial.

There's a possibility the mark is that of Elizabeth Foster who was based in Winchester -  http://pin.it/1PsI5Sm -
but there arnt enough examples of her work online for a comparison.
More likely, judging by the breaking glaze on the mug, the inscribed mark rather than a stamp, and their overall shapes, I think they are by a keen hobby potter. But there is a chance they were brought home from holiday from the US or Australia .
