Deer Letter Rack - Diamond Impressed with Letter N?

Any ideas on maker or age?

No idea of the maker, but I would date it as 1930's and most probably continental and highly stylised Gazelle rather than Deer. Do a Google image search for "Art Deco Gazelle" and you will find lots of similar images, the gazelle was one of the most used designs during the Art Deco period.

Yes I was thinking continental too, but thanks for the correction on animal type, I've widen the search now for antelope, gazelle and ibex. See what you mean about the art deco period.

If that can be provd to be NOT modern, it is a really nice thing!
