A not particularly well executed piece of slip decoration on this earthenware pot (IMO) Is it earlyish 20th century? Height 16cm

Incised mark that I really could not read until I put it under the table lamp and the resulting image is fairly clear - does anyone have any ideas please

Could be European folkware. I'm not seeing much signs of wear so latter half of the 20thC would be my guess
