Copper Ewer/Jug - Crocodile Skin Design. Possibly J.S & Sankey.

Vintage Art Nouveau copper ale jug or ewer, possibly by J.S & Sankey but not marked only No 3 stamped on the base near rim edge. Interested to know who maker is.

Sankey & sons Birmigham would be marked as such.
Not Nouveau, could be 20s or 30s.

It looks very much like a couple of Sankey ones I've had which were turn of the last century. Sometimes they just have the little Neptune-like figure stamped on them but marks aren't always clear. Of course it could be a copy.

Yes, saw an identical jug marked JS&SB in a local centre.
Though not sure if other people made them also.
