I'm really unsure about this demitasse sized cup and saucer, but my gut feeling is late nineteenth century Continental. The shape, it could be argued, looks quite Art Deco but the cup handle could just as easily be Victorian. The decoration again could be Deco but equally Victorian. Anyone else have any opinions?

I think it may be Bencharong Porcelain from Thailand.

Interesting thought, Naomi, thanks. I'd never considered the Far East but the dragon may be a bit of a giveaway. I've had a scan of Google images but nothing comparable; still, I'll keep searching.
