Large heavy charger with a treasure island map and triskelion backstamp

Any ideas on this strange one? its 15" and well made - could possibly be one of those pottery places where you decorate things yourself.  The only triskelion pottery I can find is in Greece, but they dont make things like this.  Maybe its not a triskelion - do you see something different?  Its alot of work for something functional (!)  like a treasure map?  If we can identify the islands then Im off in search of whats hidden :)

Not wanting to give to much of a suggestion because I have limited knowledge of studio pottery but that mark underneath is a very clear version of the Isle of Man symbol. No idea of what potteries reside on the Island but they are known to throw that mark on about anything made there. Worth taking a look if only to discount it as an origin.

may be Mike Dodd - who according to my potters mark book used this mark in the mid seventies - but he wasnt from the Isle of Man but he did have links with Cumbria

Looks very like the mark in the book. Mike Dodd is still potting so worth dropping him a line.

As its a pirates treasure map I'd suggest a Caribbean potter. Barbados or Jamaica maybe
