Cylindrical pot with painted decoration. 2 sets of character marks

Beautiful small cylindrical stoneware pot with bronze lustre and turquoise enamel like painted decoration.
Impressed character seal mark and hand painted characters which look Japanese. Not sure if they're the right way up in pics though.....

It does look Japanese but not in a distinctive style that I'm familiar with. It is unusual to have a painted mark, especially as the colour doesn't relate to the decoration.

I think it's a Japanese brush pot. Unusual.

Reminds me of the ones with grasses and cranes.
