60s (?) footed vase Empty 60s (?) footed vase

I'm assuming this is from the 60s. There is an incised "JW" on the base. Also, there could be another indistinct mark with a word possibly ending in "X" (?) - see last photo. I have seen a jug by Janet Wilkins in Naomi's Facebook potter's mark postings, the base of which looks to be in the same style. The mark is different, but the letters are in a similar style. I can't find anything about Janet Wilkinson, so don't know if it fits in with her style/history. Any ideas? Size is 8 3/4" high, 3 1/2" diameter.
