Lost Scottie dog...please help
This little fella fetched up at the boot sale. It has simply got B.I.F written in brown on the base. It feels very early '30s to me; the glaze feels like Clarice's Latona; the colours are quite Cliffy/Shortery/Crown Devony (notice the theme?). However I can find no other Scottie dogs webside that look any thing like it. Any thoughts, oh oracles of ceramicastan?
B.I.F might mean it was made for a British Industries Fair perhaps......

But modern pedigree dogs look different from their ancestors of 50 or so years ago due to kennel club rules on what they consider to be breeds best attributes.
