chinese plate... looks a little older

quite well done... not marked
but with iron oxide particles
any ideas which region and how old this might be?

Transfer printed, and a bright blue. May be around 1900 give or take 20years.

I'd be inclined to suggest Japanese rather than Chinese, date wise Naomi is spot on, around 1900.
