Re: Lovely Glazed Bird, SEG mark
Could this be linked with the Saturday Evening Girls Paul Revere Pottery (SEG).
I know this item is not as stylish in relation to other items available to view on other web sites and the marks are not the same, but it may be a start.

Re: Lovely Glazed Bird, SEG mark
It's possibile. However, my understanding of the Saturday Evening Girls is they painted blanks made by the Paul Revere Pottery, so their mark is normally written on the back rather than inscribed into the blank.
(eg, google images: "Signed Saturday Evening Girls Arts and Crafts Pottery Tile").
Also the pottery blanks were classic shapes, where as this bird doesn't look of the period.
