English vase - unusual shape.
I got this piece sometime ago and haven't been able to attribute it to any maker. By the look I'm guessing it's from 1930's but cannot say any more. It is 10 1/2'' tall and glazed inside. Poppy flower painted over glaze.

It will be from the 1930s and might well be from the same factory as Dannd's vase but almost certainly made in the Potteries (Stoke on Trent and the 5 towns that make it up).
I think that in the UK they were sold at Woolworths and similar stores.

One such company that made this type of product was Howard Pottery Ltd of Shelton, who used the trade name Brentleigh Ware. This was impressed on the base with Made in England as well but I would not be surprised if they didn't produce the same product unmarked (except for England, which was legally require if exported) for wholesalers.
