Desk lamp for I.D Peter Nelson lamp for Architectural Lighting Company

Bought this Aluminium slide desk lamp with push on and off switch, any idea as to year !,  50s 60s maybe !.  

looks like high quality
i will include it in my search for id's of my lamps....

Thank you S.I, i bought it to highlight items to photograph, and it works brilliantly. Could it be a photographers lamp by any chance !.

Just to add there does not appear to be any makers marks of any kind on it !. But as you said the quality appears to be High. It stands approx 24" inches from base to top of slide. Thank you, Alan. .
