Re: Peter Swanson (Penzance)
Nice piece. Looks somewhat like Phil Rogers maybe. His glazing style. I don't think it is Jim Malone or Mike Dodd. But there are also a lot more very good Leach style potters.

Re: Peter Swanson (Penzance)
Hi - Yes I can see a similarity with Phil Rogers pieces especially the base.

Re: Peter Swanson (Penzance)
It looks more like the work of Peter Swanson to me. Peter does mark his work but pots by most potters sometimes get missed.
I think you might be able to contact Peter, and think it's worth a shot.

Hi - I have now had a look at some of Peter Swanson's work and yes I can see a very similar bottle vase so could be worth a shot.

I emailed Peter and he emailed me straight back as follows
Hi Richard
It is one of mine, must be 20 years old by now..the glaze may have run onto the PS mark!
All the best
Peter
So well done studio-pots you were spot on!

Re: Peter Swanson (Penzance)
Is there a way of updating the title of this thread to show that it has been identified?

Re: Peter Swanson (Penzance)
I'm sure you can edit the title of your own posts, but I'll do it anyway.
Great news from a helpful potter!

I had an exhibition Peter's work around that time, which helped.
