I think the way the handle curves is characteristic and like other examples of her work.

Miss Kemp was the History teacher at the secondary school my wife went to in Ipswich when she was a girl.

I had photographed these before your nice comments but yes I like to promote local artists when I can. Happy

Also the Shipley Art Gallery, Gateshead has the largest permanent exhibition of studio pottery (outside of the V+A) in the UK.... open Tues to Saturday.
