Iittala stepped glass candle holder / tumbler ?

Hi all,
Last week I bought this on ebay.
I tried to find some information on the net about it, but found nothing.
I am not even sure, what it is for.
The Iittala sticker is triangle.
It is 7.5cm / 3 inches tall.
Anybody any idea who is the designer and when it was produced?

Seems more likely to be a nesting water glass - if you search google images for Iittala Ote Water glass, you'll see some similar ones designed by Aleksi Perälä but without the ribs.

Quite a few of Iittala's designers have produced very similar stacking glasses. I just had a quick look through the book Iittala: 125 Years of Finnish Glass, and nothing jumped out at me. Unfortunately, my Iittala catalogues are in storage, so I can't riffle through them.

The label, though, dates the production to before 1990, when it changed from a triangle to a rectangle.
