Old(?) Leviton Glass Lamp Empty Old(?) Leviton Glass Lamp

Hi all...I just picked this up and trying to figure out the age. It is made by leviton as it says it faintly on the part where the bulb goes and a patent #.Anyone know about vintage US made lamps?

I suspect Leviton will have only supplied the fittings to the glass factory, rather than having something to do with the design.

Who that glass factory might have been is beyond me, though.

Hi Leviton is the comapny that makes the plugs..not the lamp. Still no ID :-(

Yes, Leviton is only the maker of the socket. Glass, harp and cordset and fittings would be from other companies.

There's one like this in a local shop currently, has a tapered-square shade with some nice reverse-painting. Leviton socket too... Jumping For Joy

Is there any info on it? I asked a Consolidated Glass "expert" and they don't think it's one of theirs. I would love know the history...it is such a beautiful piece
