Bought this nice little pressed glass pot 2 3/4 inches tall. Thought possibly English, possibly early 20th century. Any thoughts on who, what, when, where etc appreciated John

Just a thought as to use, could this be toothpick holder or would it be too big for that?

It is a bit big. Could be a pot for salt or sugar.
