Textured glass vase - Scandinavian?
Thought this was Iittala but it's not from their Aslak range. Thought it might be Skruf but it's not like their snowball vase.
9" tall, 4" at it's widest point. Mold blown. Polished pontil on the base. Rounded rim. Ignore the red paint.
Ideas?

It has a slight opalescence to the middle and bottom sections. Would that be a clue to it's country of origin? Or at the very least exclude Chinese tat?

sometimes opalescence in glass of this type is often caused by water staining, Dartington textured pieces are particularly susceptible to this.

Initially thought it was staining, following removal of the paint. But it has a definite opalescence which I haven't seen with lime scale or similar.

It's probably where the paint or the paint stripper has reacted with the glass; a bit like the effect of dishwashing

Could be.
Still haven't found the maker.
