Can't find any info on I.Guide Co Silversmiths from Sheffield
Hi... I have been trying to find out more info on a boxed large silver knife and fork set. The name I. Guide Co Silversmiths Sheffield appears on a ribbon on the inside top of the box and I have managed to find the marks FW, a crown, a lion and 't' stamped on the knife and fork.
As far as researching goes, I am led to believe they are from Sheffield and the 't' could be either 1839 or 1911 - difficult to tell.
However, that is as much info I can find... absolutely nothing on I. Guide Co!!
They may be worthless but I am intrigued... Can anyone shed more light on these and the Silversmiths for me?
Thanks

A picture of the FW mark or a description of it - type of script whether in a oval, shield etc. would help.
