Rayric Pottery, England
I would like to enquire if any members can help identify this jug which appears to be of the Briglin era! As can be clearly seen it is thrown in earthenware and to a standard that to my mind would suggest it was professionaly made rather than a night school jobbie. It is hand decorated with a simple star like motif and has the impressed words RAYRIC or RAYRIG ENGLAND. If any members could shed some light on the piece I would be most grateful. Regards, stillscurrying

It seems that Rayric was a pottery from London that was running in 1983, but no further info on how long before or after. Run by RAYmond bone and eRIC grant.

Re: Rayric Pottery, England
To me it has a Briglin sort of feel without being something that could pass as Briglin, before looking at the mark.
As Briglin was a "combo of names" I wonder if it was a pottery set up by former employees of that establishment?

Re: Rayric Pottery, England
It appears to have been a pottery operating in London in the early 1980s and was run by Raymond Bone and Eric Grant. I haven't been able to confirm this or find out any other information.
