Those Stelton Candle Holders - Myth & Reality!

I have noticed quite a few online sellers ascribing these quite common Stelton (and other manufacturers) candle holders to Arne Jacobsen but I can't find any evidence to support that. The design would seem to predate Jacobsen's work with Stelton. Can anyone advise?

So no candle holders.
