Large studio bowl

Nice studio bowl with brushed decoration, Impressed potters marks to he base and again to the foot ring, any ideas?

So good they marked it twice. Eleanor Newell's mark is similar to the right-hand one but don't know her style??

I also thought the mark looked close to hers, but this is nothing like her style (atleast not now), as she works in raku.

As you say Potty definately not Eleanor Newell, I have 3 pieces now with this mark but only this one with the second initials. They are all well potted and nicely decorated, its so annoying that I can't ID them. There is a dish on ebay with the same monogram but with different initials, so i'm guessing the monogram is the pottery.

I've seen a couple with these marks on ebay, but still no id.

So frustrating when the marks are so clear.

Is it Tim Andrews? I think it might be. That big book suggests he worked with David leach, there is definately an influence here, I would say? Not sure, just another digestion to check out. I like it whoever!

Tim's monogram has the T across the top of the A and doesn't have the dot. But might be worth asking him if it's an early mark.
