Pair of Blue glass vases with Enamelled decoration any ideas ??
Hi and thanks for taking the time to look at this pair i found at the Bootfair today.
They are white on the inside cased in blue giving them a lovely bright cobalt blue colour
decorated with a simple small floral patter in enamels.
Bases have quite a lot of contact wear and seem to be of a good age.

I think probably mould blown, cut and ground top rims. Some very slight traces of gilt decoration on the top rims. Also just noticed a few traces of gilt deco on base rims as well. the more i look at these the older i think they are.

Looks far more like ceramic than glass. Nice though.

They are blown from the top and cut at the rim. Probably Czechoslovakian I would think and they may have had a silver collar/rim fitted. I think it will probably be impossible to determine the maker unfortunately.
