Not Whitefriars Geometric vase Empty Not Whitefriars Geometric vase

Hi - I've been told "not Whitefriars", but can anyone shed any light?

It's a textured vase, sort of offset square shape. Just under 21cm tall, top opening 6cm by 6cm.

I think that base is sometimes found on Japanese pieces..is it sort of moulded? rather than being a polished pontil mark if you see what I mean?

Hi - yes, I see what you mean. It's very regular, and could in fact be moulded...

Could well be Japanese... no-one else is putting their hand up!! ;)
