Jorge Wilmot (Mexico) Empty Pottery Bird / Quail Sculpture - Jorge Wilmot, Tonala, Mexico

I came across this pottery sculpture of a bird.  The bird is signed on the bottom with a W.  I was looking to see if anyone knows anything about this pottery piece.  It is 9" H x 6" W x 9"L.  It has hand painted decoration on both wings of bird and a beautiful glaze of blues and browns.  Is it possibly Danish or Scandinavian?  Let me know what you think!

Does anyone know the maker of this item, it is 4in tall and 5in in length with an 'W' monogram under the tail.

I have had this vase for a number of years and would like to see if anyone has info on the maker or the markings that are on it. Its a stoneware vase with what looks like a w with a partial underline followed by 6 little dots in this pattern '.'.'.
Hope someone can help.
