Is This a 50s 60s Mazzega Bowl, Bianconi??

I have lots of glass I am unsure about but all good quality not average tourist stuff, Does anyone know who may of made this huge centre bowl and when? this huge bowl is top quality and weighs around 4lbs it is 16"longx 8" widex 6" high. I picked it up around 12 years ago. Kev
Better photos of my possible Mazzega Bianconi Bowl

I have done some better photos by placing the bowl outside instead of the flash. It is 17" x 9" x 6.5" and very heavy. I have seen similar bowls in identical coulors reffered to as Mazzega, Bianconi bowls.
Does anyone else have any ideas? Kev

Your bowl grew!
I love the colours, and the quality of the execution looks to be excellent... but I'm not convinced that the quality of design is there for Bianconi. With any standard colour combination I would have instantly assumed touristware from its generic shape.
The German seller touting it as Bianconi on eBay does tend to get a bit free and easy with their attributions on occasion - and their pricing belies their conviction in them. A genuine lump of Bianconi this size would be a few thousand, not a couple of hundred.
I can't really help pin down the actual designer, unfortunately.

Hi Nic, lol its between 8 and 9 inch tall and just over 6 inch high. It is definately not tourist glass, it far exceeds that kind of quality. As I say my friend has 2 or 3 of these bowls collected over the last 25 years or so and I have handled them all, This one I picked up around 8 or 10 years ago, I cannot remember exactly but I havent bought any for 5 years or so.
It may not be Mazzega but the quality of the crystal and soft colours are the same. You need to handle some items in person a photo wont always do.
There is an auction at quittenbaum soon with a vase in a similar colour scheme. Its a great bowl and a real centre bowl whoever made it. If there was a factory copying the Mazzega bowl then hopefully someone can come up with a name. Thanks for your help Kev.

Oh, I wasn't suggesting it was touristware - the quality far exceeds that. I was indicating, rather, that the design was quite generic.
It might indeed be Mazzega... but perhaps not Bianconi.

The Quittenbaum auction attributes the vase design to Gino Mazzega:

Hi Nic ,Yes you are correct, I would love it to be from the Mazzega factory never mind Bianconi, lol You are most likely correct that it is not Bianconi but it could well be Gino Mazzega. Whoever it was made by knew what they were doing though and it is a stunning piece of art glass. Thanks Kev
