HELLO,
I am looking for information regarding this rug. It is about 8' x 10' and is from the 70's or earlier. I am interested if anyone might know the designer or if the number on the back is an indication of who or where it was manufactured.

I just stumbled across your post when I joined this forum. It does not appear you have received a response. Did you ever learn anything about the origin of your rya? It happens I too have a large rya with the same type of tag-different numbers. It is very simple with only slight variations in color. Obviously I share your interest in learning the meaning of the tag. Good luck!
