Alan Frewin, Nonsuch and Millhouse Potteries slipware - Page 2 Empty Flowery Jug, - Alan & Ann Frewin Millhouse pottery Harleston, Norfolk.

Post by Beege July 13th 2020, 4:05 pm

Hallo, I do hope you're all well.
I thought this decorative' little (9cm) jug was by Alan Ashpool, but on closer inspection the mark is not exactly like Mr Ashpool's and the style does not seem to match his known works. Can anybody please identify this mark for me?
Thank you.
Jack.

To see how fabulous a potter Alan Frewin really was just look at his work for sale on Ebay. He died a few years ago, and his estate is selling his work. It is heftily priced and is collection only. Which means it is not selling well. But just look. Truly some of the best slipware pottery I have seen. Amazing work.
