Is this amber Empoli glass?

This piece has a roundish, polished pontil to base.

I can't really help with the maker, but I think that it could be a relatively new piece. I've seen very similar-looking pieces in TK Maxx and some department stores, which is not to denegrate the glass at all. I've bought several pieces from TK myself, they're attractive and very well made, and it always surprises me how they can sell it for such low prices (low labour-costs notwithstanding).
