The mark on the base of this huge vase is too faint for me to see. It also has a number which again is rather faint, but looks like S163.

It's Czechoslovakian and probably Ditmar Urbach. If so then 1919 to 1938.

That type of vase isnt very fashionable these days. You might get a tenner on ebay, but its the sort of thing you'd pick up for a quid at the car boot sale.

Hello, definitely Ditmar Urbach and designed by Jarmila Formankova in the 1950s. The pattern is called Pyzamo.
