Tiny little piece - very happy! So delicate - such rich colour combinations.

Two Studio Pottery porcelain vessels made when he was Senior Lecturer at UWIC (University of Wales Insititure Cardiff) on the Ceramics course. One is a second, the lustre piece, the other with incised decoration is a glaze test.

The three lidded pots were originally part of a one-off set of six but he hadn't found a buyer for them so was selling them off individually.

From Farnham Art In Clay last November. Thankfully arrived early, otherwise Id never have got these red ones. They were a new test glaze. Swindell said hed only made three and wasnt really sure how hed done it, so he might not be able to replicate it.

Some photos from the fair.
