Mid 70's Better Maid
Picked up in charity shop today. Nice orange plastic, unfortunately my wife hates it.
Cabaretfad in orange plastic from the 1970s
Djalens reg. Design No. 288 - Button-Maid
Used i believe to keep small items, such as buttons in.

Re: Mid 70's Better Maid
Have a few of these all slightly different they are actually Dialene by Better Maid.
This is from there snack server range and is synonymous with 1970's buffets.
They also manufactured a range of plant pots, knick knacks and other food servers.
I usually sell your server for 15 to 20 pounds at vintage fairs so if you paid substantially less than this point out to the wife you got a bargain.
Use it at xmas to put some nibbles in its a nice talking point :)

99p if I remember rightly.Still got it somewhere, I don't very often listen to my wife when it comes to collectables, she is very minimalist. ;-)

Re: Mid 70's Better Maid
I'm based in the lancashire area and mainly show in Stockport and the vintage home show in Manchester.
Further a field I find swinderby better than Newark. I also like Malvern and Shepton Mallet
