jean gilon (1919-2007) brazilian furniture designer, born in romania
guilon studied fine arts in Iassi and took in 1942 an architecture degree in bucharest.
in 1956 he moved to brazil and in 1958 he founded italma wood art industria brasileira which produced furniture and household objects from brazilian hardwoods.
