Who made these chairs?? Empty Who made these chairs??

Hi. Picked these chairs up at the beginning of the year, thought they were interesting so had them reupholstered. After looking in just about every book I can find I have been unable to identify the maker. The wood is Japanese blonde oak. Look like 1950's to me, a colleague has suggested they could be american I really have no idea. Any help greatly appreciated!! Cheers Most Excellent

love the back legs,hate the upholstery,was it renovated when you bought it?

Hi. Found them at a market, stall holders were sitting on them. Had them restored and reupholstered. I like the fabric myself, but everyone has different tastes... Should mention there is a pair. Cheers Who made these chairs?? 910958

Lovely chairs! I like the 1950s textile you've used for the upholstery however I reckon they look much more like 1960s production (no idea of a maker though - sorry!)
