Glasses with a stylized Rose with gold
Has anybody seen this decor before? Does anybody know the manufactor?

Re: Glasses with a stylized Rose with gold
I've a jug with the same rose motif (but with a different leaf decoration) - never been able to pin it down, though.
Somewhere between France, Belgium and Czechoslovakia, c.1930-1960, is about as close as I got.
Here's the jug, and the second picture shows an export label on it - typically the bit that says "Made In..." is worn off!

Yes, the bloom really looks similar.
Nice Jug.
I have a very large set of the glasses. 4 or 5 different types with 8 glasses each plus a decanter.
I like this discreet gold application.
Isn't it possible to find out what the ME on the label stands for?

I've never been able to track down who 'ME' are, but they seem to have imported glass and pottery into the UK from all over the world (their logo sometimes pops up as a backstamp on pottery blanks made in China and Italy, and decorated in (or, at least, for) the UK as regional touristware).
