Re: Celtic pottery in both Newlyn & Mousehole (England)
Bill & Maggie Fisher set up a studio pottery simply named 'the studio' at Wharf cottage Mousehole, they then changed the name to Celtic pottery before their Marriage hit the rocks and they went their separate ways.
Maggie went to Newlyn where she set up Celtic pottery Newlyn

Celtic pottery 1959

This is the earliest Celtic Mousehole pottery I have found so far and was purchased in 1959, a few people have guessed at the date Bill and Maggie started in business but this info shows they were potting way before the 60's

Dan, can you not ask Maggie when they actually started? Might be really useful info.
I have one of his artworks which is dated 1960, with Bakery Studio, printed on the card. But by 1963 at the latest, they had moved to The Studio at Wharf Cottage.

One pot signature that I've only ever seen once.
