Does anyone have any info on this vase ,bought it this morning from charity shop signed Lapid Israel and D impresed no.700 i think

Yes ,I like it ,thought it was german when picked it up at first ,but then .................??????

the form and underglaze look German but not the design that was applied on top

I picked this Lapid pot up in a charity shop for a £1 and interested to see there are posts about the pottery on here.
9cm tall and signed by Batia and presumably 70's

they made some nice pieces , but they are not valuable youl'd be very lucky to get a tenner for it imo. stick it on ebay at what you paid for it and see , you never know .

This is the second Lapid vase I've had . Different decoration but, weirdly, the same shape. This was decorated by Anat at the pottery in Tel Aviv. It shut down in the 80s.
