Thank you! Having just looked that up on the internet it definitely is that. I'll have to go inn the attic and post a photo here of the marks on the base. Might take me a couple of days to get to it!

Found this little modernist black and white candlestick today. The white glazed areas have a semi-matt, satin finish - just like that used on Cheviot and Cloisonne ware. It is unsigned, though the unglazed foot rim is sooo Denby-like. Quite weighty too. Undocumented item?

No I have had them before. I have seen them for sale as Tigo ware, which they
could be, as some items were done in stoneware, but not on my Tigo pattern sheets.
May just be an oddball accessory/giftware item.
