Hi Pip,
it's 9 3/4"H ,approx. 3 1/4" thick,
base is textured just as front of the sculpture,
back of the sculpture is fully polished .

It doesn't look to have any wear on the base ,that would suggest very modern , but without a label or marks almost impossible to tell exactly unless you find another W/L

It does look quite Pukeberg-ish, but I wouldn't like to make any firm guesses.
I believe WMF also had some similar pieces produced during the 1990s.

It could be contemporary production.
There are number of Scandinavian companies who manufactured and manufacturing figurines, candle olders, votives, paperweights, ashtrays with similar finish,
it is difficult to say each one.

Re: Mystery Textured Glass Sculpture - Unsigned
I agree with Nic about possibly Pukeberg - it does look very Swedish. I don't think these kinds of items get a lot of basewear - certainly none of the Pukeberg glass vikings I've had in the past have ever had any basewear so I don't think that's a reliable indicator of age really.
