Gullaskruf (Sweden) - Arthur Percy designs
Bottle vases designed in 1951 by Arthur Percy for the Swedish glasshouse Gullaskruf - in production until 1965. They came in a number of different colours and sizes - shown here together are the largest and the smallest in the range.

There are a lot of very good looking reproductions made in Poland. It is really difficult to spot the fakes once the stickers are removed.

Not in the flesh - the base and rim finishes on the originals are very different from modern repros - as are the colours.

Tremendous Arthur Percy blown glass bottle vase

This enormous bottle vase designed by Arthur Percy for Gullaskruf in 1952 is an amazing 40" tall. That's 1016 mm to you-all across the pond. The largest I've seen documented to date is 27". Has anyone come across one of these fabulous Swedish minimalist bottle vases as tall as this one?

Another large Percy bottle vase? I sure hope!
Hi there,
I believe I have also found an Arthur Percy bottle vase like the green one above. Can someone hazard an educated opinion that this is not a reproduction? It has the base that I believe signifies Percy (indented).
Dimensions: 39.5" tall x about 9.5" wide at base. Opening is just under 2".
I really need to learn how to photograph without reflection :)
Thanks,
Joni

I should also mention it is light weight and has some shelf (or floor in this case
) wear.

Bit of insight coming via local mid-century vending hutch. Large 20" Arthur Percy style vase in amber wearing an Aseda label. It was news to me that Aseda made such things.

Check ebay, that'll give you the best idea of what they fetch.
