Kosta Boda - Zoo series

Does anyone know who designed the series, and when? There seems to be a lot of conflicting information online, and it seems to be skipped over in the more obvious reference books.

Spotted a post by Bill Geary on the GMB in which he says that the 1986 Kosta Boda catalogue states Bertil Vallien as the designer - although not 100% sure if he's referring to this same series as the post has no photos.

I found a large giraffe today (will post a pic here later) that I think is from this series. There are no labels or marks though. Should it be marked somewhere?

Mine weren't.

From my experience, a lot of things made at the Afors / Boda works were marked with labels only.

Thank you! I think I'm going to ask my husband for some more of these zoo animals for Christmas because they're so attractive and not terribly expensive.

Yesterday, I received the baby giraffe I bought on eBay to go with the mother I found in a charity shop  Never mind that I spent about 5x more for the baby than I did on the mother!
