Little goblet with FS or ES mark Empty Little goblet with FS or ES mark

Happy New Year!
Does anyone recognize the mark on this hollow foot goblet? I thought it might be Eric Saxby but the letters are not the same shape as his. And now I'm wondering if it might be FS and not ES....

Not a mark I've come across before. There's a chance it's French, based on the clay and glaze
