Brass vases with Chinese Dynasty mark? Empty Brass vases with Chinese Dynasty mark?

These were brought home in the 1920s from my father in law after a stint in the British Army in Hong Kong. Likely new tourist items at that time but I am not sure. There is a mark on the bottom. Thanks for any further information. Brass vases with Chinese Dynasty mark? Img_0613
