Honeycomb Dolphin
Hello,
can anyone identify the maker of this blue-green honeycomb glazed dolphin on a terracotta red pottery base? There seems to be a V or an arrow, and also a 1 (or 4) and a crescent (or dolphin) inside the base.

Re: Honeycomb Dolphin
Did Blue Mountain use honeycomb glazes?

Re: Honeycomb Dolphin
I don't think it is - but in shape, it looks (virtually) identical to one done by Anita Harris.
That front small wave curl is quite unusual (I think) and the same on hers.
Hard to tell as your pic is a slightly different angle - but I think hers have a slightly taller fin.
But it looks like one 'inspired' the other, if it isn't hers.

Re: Honeycomb Dolphin
Having compared with an Anita Harris dolphin all the design features seem identical
